The Bennett Sun • live at Copper Spirit Distillery @ Copper Spirit Distillery
Nov 21 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

The Bennett Sun, Nov 21, Copper Spirit Distillery. 7 PM start but arrive early
Live from Whitehorse!

Dana Jennejohn and The Bennett Sun are coming south, promoting the release of their full CD of original music. This group serves up mountain to valley, northern Canadiana, singer-songwriter music with a hint of the traditional south. Hailing from Whitehorse, the band has a sound described as tumbleweed pop and city folk with songs that are inspired by northern living and landscape. Working with a special core of a few Yukon musicians since 2010, The Bennett Sun’s sweet and compelling harmony rich music ranges from folk, country and roots drawing on the collaborative bluegrass tradition.

Don’t miss this live intimate performance. Access is by donation and we recommend that you arrive early due to the venue’s limited capacity.

The Bennett Sun recently released a CD of Dana’s original songs.

Woven into the classes will be Harmony’s passion for the planet and environmental sustainability. Each session will be an exploration into ways we can be less wasteful, and learn to live from our souls rather than from our pain.
