On the farm we have a specialty food shop so our guests can enjoy locally made foods and have the convenience of the basics and the gourmet within walking distance of their accommodation.
Our Cozy Cottage is an inviting getaway for two, situated privately in the middle of the farm overlooking the Emu field with views of Mount Gardner. The Cottage comes with a generous basket of breakfast and snack makings from the specialty food shop and has a small kitchenette, a bbq and a sundeck. The interior of the Cozy Cottage is finished with natural wood, Mexican tiles and antique stained glass windows and comes with comfy robes, slippers and a gorgeous crib board.
The Courtyard En-Suite has the same lovely decor and a beautiful walk-in shower and private courtyard. The suite comes with a daily continental breakfast and also use of a fridge and bbq.
Guests can relax in the privacy and quiet of their suites or enjoy walks around the farm and mindful stops at the various park benches to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the wildlife that call Alderwood home.
We offer appetizer platters and picnic lunches through the specialty food shop and guests in the cottage can pick up all the makings of a fabulous dinner (including custom cut steaks) all within a gentle stroll from their home away from home.
